Thanks
Lee, thanks for the offer to give me some tips. I've got a unique 'exercise challenge'. Right now, I have very limited mobility, and until my MRI in two weeks, I can only do 'Sit and Be Fit' stuff. Have you ever heard of it? It's on PBS here. I'm soooo ready to be well, I thought of you and thought I'd ask. Have a great Wednesday! Hunter

Thumbs Up
Hi Lee! I got sidetracked, but it was necessary, but I needed to answer you about me. You already know that an angiomyolipoma is benigh, that's the excellent part. It's not my only diagnosis, but in the scheme of things it's the least of my problems for now. It did damage my kidney however, but that can be dealt with. My surgeons left a positive margin, but that's another issue. Bottom line is that I have become a firm believer in getting the word out about two very silent and potentially deadly diseases, and one doesn't have to have a disease to want to help in the fight for a cure, as you and I both know. For me, this is now RCC/mRCC and Diabetes. In my family alone, for the last 3 generations, we have been hit hard by all forms of cancer, heart disease, etc, etc, ad nauseam (sp?), but I want to spread the word for people I know to take care of their bodies more. Starting with me! Exercise, like what you do for people is SO key!! I, myself, have lost 45 lbs since Dec 08. I'm not morbidly obese and was a flight attendant back when they wanted you to be tiny, so I've not fought the bulge much, but right now, I'm having to use "Sit and Be Fit" but as long as I can move my arms and legs I will move them. I still can, thanks be to God. Anyway, it's late, I didn't intend to rattle on, but I didn't want you to think that I was ignoring your blogs on here. When I become a friend, I try to keep in touch. The hard part is the longer you are on here the more wonderful people you try to keep up with. Hugs, and nite!
