One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. “One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” “The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Feed: Don't you dare give up! You have no idea what an inspiration you are. I have been thinking about much you said. And, I believe that I agree. My H is better than 99.9% of men out there. He did decide what he wanted and he's been working hard to earn it. And it's slowly working. I know now that I don't ever want to divorce him. And, I know that what we do have left is better than most have ever had. And, that there is HOPE for better if I can get myself straightened out. I hope you and yours are well. And, that you are continuing. You've been so much help! thank you from the bottom of my heart!

thankyou so much for ur response. the wolf fable is so meaningful...i just wish my husbands love for me had been strong enough for him to fight the devils in him . as for my hope and happiness not depending on him, that is what i hope for but unfortunately my love for him leaves me no escape. ...sad and pointless. my daughter once said to me " love is worth nothing at all if the same love isn't given back . wiser than her mum.. take care. sue xx
