Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Legally BlindI have had problems with my eye going on about two years now due to a congenital defect that left me with only light perception in my left eye at birth and resonable sight in my other eye. In January of 2007 my cornea began to exhibit edema and I was sent to a speacilist to have a endotheilial cell count done. The results of that count showed that I had only 300 per sq. mm. My Dr. recommended a corneal transplant which was done in Febuary I presently see at 20/400.
