Close Stuttering
I have stuttered since age five. I have gone through speech therapy, even hypnosis, but I still stammer. But I wouldn't want to give this up. I'm glad I stutter. It makes me who I am, and besides, people need to pay closer attention to what I say!
Treatments
- Speech Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Only helped when I was in a therapy session.
- Hypnotherapy Working / Worked
Close Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
I was diagnosed with PKD at age 16. It has not affected my overall health yet, but it still frightens me.
