Well, I finally had to go to the er, and got a shot and pain meds, Waiting for resulsof the mri. both my dr & the er dr agree it is a cervical radi somethnig , that is very painful, the nerves are inpinged. Not allowed to do much of anything right now but rest. Kind of a little sad, cause my 57 birthday is on Friday, wondering when all the pain will stop. I would like to resume my career. Thank you again, Hugs

      Effexor Somewhat Helpful
Current psychiatrist said it was the wrong kind of meds for me and put me on Remeron and Geodon
      Elavil Working / Worked
Was mainly for help in sleeping i think. Gained an auful lot of weight on it.
      Geodon Working / Worked
I'm really not sure why I take this, but the doctor seems pleased with the results. I've been on it for 3 years now along with the Remeron.
      Prozac Somewhat Helpful
It was along time ago, I don't really remember.
      Psychotherapy Working / Worked
I have to see a therapist regularly in order to see the psychiatrist at the clinic. So I do it, we don't discuss much in a therapy context. I talk a lot about my daughter.
      Remeron Working / Worked
Been on it for 3 years now. Sometimes i need to be hsopitalized and have the dose temporarily upped but ont he shole it is working fairly well I think. Dr. seems pleased witht he results.

      Treatments

      5-HTP Not Working
I don't remember much about it, it was years ago.
      Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
Was helpful until I developed an allergy to the chemicals used. Also, tried working out in a pool, but it was too hard to make it to the class.
      Duragesic Patch Somewhat Helpful
I still had pain and didn't like the way they made me feel.
      Effexor Somewhat Helpful
Psychaitrist changed my meds, for psychological reasons.
      Elavil Working / Worked
Gained a LOT of weight on this med.
      Guaifenesin Not Working
Absolutely disgusting, and couldn't maintain the necessary salycylic free lifestyle.
      Heat Working / Worked
Lost my pad, don't know why I havent' replaced it. Now that you mention it, it did help with the upper back pain.
      Lyrica Working / Worked
Take a low dose twice a day. Spend less time in bed since going on it. Afraid to up the dose becaus eof dizziness and weight gain.
      Ultram Working / Worked
Take the max dosage 3 times a day. Don't really feel it working, bust suspect if I went off of it I'd be very sorry.
      Robaxin Working / Worked
      Worked okay for a while.
      Baclofen Working / Worked
Like the Ultram I dont really feel it working but suspect Id really notice it if I went off of it.
