  girl, even though he SEEMS like the guy you thought you wanted - he's still the same piece of crap. you will be better once he's cut out of your life completely. But I know it's hard.. I'm just getting out of a 2 yr abusive situtatio. I also didn't realize til the end that I was being verbally abused the WHOLE time and the last 2 months it had gotten physical...It will be ok.   Although we imagine theres something to 'miss'...There really is not.....Pity the new woman..She will get the charmer at first...and then his true abusive self will re-emerge...they DON'T change....Its very hard but writing down what it was really like...Helps you remember and remind yourself how bad it really was...That helped me....Hugs...Its gets easier...
