I'am 43, in the middle of a divorce, I have 2 wonderful daughters, suffer from Chronic Fibromyalgia, along w/other illnesses, not currently working, But, have worked all my life until 2004 when I became very ill. Want to be a support to others and here other experiences of this illness to help others by support.

I was blessed with this prayer today, and I wanted to share it with you. It gave me a reassurance of peace and a reminder that His presence is in us if we give Him room in our busy, stressful lives. 'May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love . It is there for each and every one of us.'

Close Fibromyalgia
I've had fibromyalgia for 2 years now. It took so long for Doctors to realize what was wrong. I woke up one morning and hurt everywhere I had a hard time breathing and had chronic pain everywhere. It was hard to even take a shower.I was so stiff. This is not how I normally was. I was currently an activity worker at a Nursing home and was on my feet at a full time job. Before that I ran a registered child daycare so u see I was very active I also was a full time wife and mother of 2 daughters.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- helps but,can't always aford
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Had side effects
- Elavil Working / Worked
- helped sleep some-had to up doses often and caused weight gain and side effects
Close Breakups & Divorce
Been married 19yrs. Both worked hard to make a good life then I became sick and he got sick with brain tumurs I tried to stay to support him and still love him very much But his family and him have become very violent and my daughters were scared for our lifes.

- tried but they wanted me on antidepressents and they make me more tired and sick

Open Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI have chronic asthma,have been receiving allergy shots which at times makes it worse. Have taken so many different medicines through out the years. Was diagnosed after pregnancy.
Treatments
- Advair Not Working
- Can't take do to allergic reactions
- Immunotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Inhaler Working / Worked
- helps sometimes, When I am sick with a cold or Bronchitis
- Singulair Not Working
- to many allergic reactions
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Was on a very large dose about 1 and 1/2 yrs ago and it shut down my adrenal gland causing itrogenic cushing syndrome and weight gain. Can never take it again.
