I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis in 2000 and became severely depressed as a result. I felt like this was the end of my life and I was going to suffer forever. I tried isolating every possible food from my diet for about 2 years and nothing worked. My IC is triggered by stress. I eliminated many of the stressful components of my life and my symptoms have improved dramatically. It was not easy to get here and I still have flares but it's a lot better than how it was before.

Thanks! My sister and I had a long talk and things are better now. She has decided that her, her husband, and her kid are going to move into their own apartment soon. She is starting to grow up and change a little so I'm hoping she continues that way. Have a great day!

How are you doing today? Thank you for requesting to be my friend. That is awesome that you studied in Spain for a semester! I would have rather lived in Spain than in Mexico. Are you fluent in Spanish? I lived in such a poor area in Mexico for one year but it was the greatest experience of my life. I hope to visit Spain someday. I miss the Gilmore Girls. I started watching the show with subtitles in Mexico and was absolutely bummmed how season 7 ended and that there were only 7 seasons. I actually wrote a petition, along with millions of others, for them to bring back another season. I hope you are having a great day. Thanks for the message! :)

Hi have you ever tried Prelief. It is supposed to do something similar to baking soda by alkalizing your urine. It might help. If you can't find it in a pharmacy you can order it online.

Treatments
- Baking Soda Working / Worked
- I am putting 1/4 tsp in about 16 oz of water. I definitely recommend putting the water in the glass first, because otherwise there might be residue at the bottom which means you didn't get the full effect of the baking soda.
- Elmiron Not Working
- It worked at first but now it doesn't.
