Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I'm working on staying ahead of my disease. One day, I want to see this period of sickness and struggle to be a reflection of all the things I've learned. I've found that living with a chronic illness feels like a fast track through life an I've experienced a lot of personal trauma not only physically but emotionally. My story is not over, that's why there's a hope ring on my finger. And when I struggle no more, I'll still be wearing it because there is so much in life to hope for.

- Asacol Not Working
- In 2003, didn't work
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Still a learning experience.
- Colazal Not Working
- Also, in 2003, didn't work
- Entocort Working / Worked
- early in 2008, didn't work
- Humira Not Working
- Did regular and double doses seemed to work in the beginning but with all these medications factoring in sleep what youre eating stress level seems to cloud the results.
- Methotrexate Not Working
- Early 2008. The side effects of constipation were too strong.
- Prednisone Too Soon to Tell
- always a fallback for my flares. I don't agree with this treatment and use it in emergencies. It makes me very hungry, angry and "extra vivid"
- Probiotics Not Working
- Tried pills and yogurts, never showed any improvement
