About Me
I am a 34 year old stay at home mom of two. I was diagnosed with UC in 2000, and after that first flare-up had been living relatively symptom free. Then I started a family and had two children in two years (oops!). Since the birth of my second I have been quite sick and am just trying to get back to normal.

Rainbow
Hope a rainbow lights your way! All I can say is I've been dealing with flare-ups since I was in my early 20's and also noticed them worsen with the child rearing years... A food dairy helped me realize what food triggered the flare-ups through avoiding these foods my CD/UC hasn't been that bad. Drugs just didn't seem to work. So my best advice would be get in tune with your body and know what foods trigger you symptoms. Good luck... I'm 50 now and speaking from experience wish I had someone to help me out when I was going through the worst back then. Dairy is the food that's bad for me (and it is in so much.) But believe me it is so worth avoiding. Good luck to you, know that you can be in control. I've never let it slow me down and I can still do everything...from gardening to sports. So watch what you eat!!!

You'll be just fine.
