Close Prolactinoma

i was diagnosed with a prolactinoma 7 years ago. Now it has shrunk and is an adema. I have used bromocriptine and now take dostinex. My prolactin level is now considered normal and my endo hopes that she can take me off dostinex soon for a couple of years.

Dostinex Working / Worked

Been on for 3 years. Tumor is shrinking and level is normal. Side effects durable compared with bromocriptine. I get tingling in hands and feet and nausea, And i don't have a lot of energy. i take .5 mg twice a week.

Parlodel Working / Worked

It worked but i hated this medicine. It made me so sick. You have to take everyday or twice everyday. I couldnt think i didnt want to eat i hurt all over and was sick to my stomach all day long. But it worked. When my tumor came back after i quit taking it i refused this medicine and went to dostinex. I took 2.5 mg of bromocriptine a day.
