    • Close Cervical Cancer

      Went in for my routine exam and pap smear. Had been having strange discharge, but since I faithfully went to my Dr. every year, I figured the problem, would be easily fixed. However, I had stage III cervical cancer. Went through 8 chemotherapy treatments and 35 external radiation treatments. Still recovering. Went last week for my second follow-up appt. only for the gyn./oncologist to find a "spot" that isn't healing right. And, yes, the discharge is back. I'm waiting for the biopsy.

      Cisplatin Somewhat Helpful
      fatigue, headaches, stomach pain
      Radiotherapy Somewhat Helpful
      fatigue, bladder infection, burned skin, digestive problems
