Turns out the hospital got funding approved for my teeth nearly 3 weeks before anyone decided to tell me. I had an appointment with a maxillo-facial doc during those weeks to plead for help and he just said they had to wait for funding (that if he'd bothered to check he would've seen had already been agreed.? My own NHS dentist called twice too in that time.
They really did screw up at every stage and it becomes more and more astounding.

I'm so sorry you are the victim of such incompetence. I hope they fix this for you asap. You are in my thoughts...

I've been reading all your journal entries on this. Oh, brother, what a disgrace. Imagine if you couldn't fight for yourself. There are so many people lost in this maze of medical apathy, red tape and bull shit who can't advocate for themselves. I hope things start moving forward finally. Take care, dear!

Sue,
when all is said and done and you are feeling well again, I hope that you will write a book (or at least a journal) of your experience through this horror. I think that you will be able to help many others. You are a brave fighter, truely my hero!
Best wishes always!

You're so sweet guys, it makes such a difference. You know Fraz, the NHS used to be much worse - this is just a particular department screwing up all the time. I DID write a book years ago about it, but funnily enough, publishers thought it was a bit depressing!!!! lol
