I am a registered nurse, married with a 4 year old son. We are finally pregnant after 15 months and are due in May 2010. Although our pregnancy is high risk due to Rh sensitization, we are hopeful to have a healthy baby.

To try and minimize the amount of pain this is causing my family and to communicate with others who are going through similar hard ships.
Treatments
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- This month the OPK showed ovulation on days 20/21, now waiting to see if I get a period
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Somewhat Helpful
- With PCOS there are times when there are false positives. I have tried several different brands. I just bought a Clearblue Easy Monitor and plan on using it next month.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Because of PCOS I do not ovulate. So I take a 12 day course of Provera to induce a period so I can take the fertility meds. This causes my cycle to be around 48 days long which is extremely frustrating
- Metformin Not Working
- This is to help with the insulin resistance of PCOS. This does not work on its own and is being combined with Clomid.

- Will begin using this religously next cycle. It is hard for me during school because my schedule changes every day

- I guess it is working. I have not had an easier time loosing weight and it has not started my cycle alone. It is being combined with clomid.

- Vitex Too Soon to Tell
- If I have to do another month of clomid (this will make my 3rd month in Sept) I will begin taking this as well as L-Arginine, b50 complex, and red leaf raspberry
