just need another person with trich to talk to...
Every day I struggle with this monster called "anxiety" and "trichotillomania". I think about it all the time. …
I have been in property management for over 30 years. I am happily married with one daughter and 2 grandchildren. I would say my family is my passion. My job can be very stressful and contributes to a lot of my anxiety. Unfortuanatley, with the economy the way it is we all need an income to survive...but is it worth it sometimes? I don't know!!! I suffer from anxiety and trichotillomania. They seem to go hand in hand.

Hello there! Thanks for the hug!
It is so nice to know you aren't alone. Thanks for the hug and here's one back at you!!
thanks.......you too are not alone :)
I have been struggling with trich for 8 years now. After 5 years of thinking I was just nuts, I went to visit a family physician and cried my eyes out telling him about my hair pulling..I was embarrassed. I thought I just should be able to STOP! after several different medications that appeared to help for a very short time and using different techniques myself such as a stress ball to occupy my hands, wearing gloves, wearing a bandana and even wigs at home, I still pull and cut!
