Support Groups
Close Meniere's Disease
Diagnosed 3 years ago. I have been unemployed for the past year due to severe symptoms. I thought it would e a good idea to join a support group.
Treatments
- Gentamycin Somewhat Helpful
- Had the "wick" surgery. It helped for 2 years, still had attacks but not as often but now suffer daily attacks.
- Low Salt Diet Somewhat Helpful
- It is helpful to watch the salt intake; helps with fluid build up.
- Valium Working / Worked
- Valium is my lifeline. If I take it in time, I can keep the attack under control so that I am at least not vomitting. Sometimes the attacks come too fast.
