Since my late teenage early twenties I have delt with numerous symptoms I have yet to put a name to. I get mouth sores and ulcers. I have had genital ulcers tested for herpes that come back negitive. I get sore throats and high fevers, ear aches, and major migraines. I have had 4 misscarriages, stomach ulcers, H.Plory infections, Ulcers near my iliem in the colon. I have had cameras stuck down my throat and up my butt and everywhere in between. I have been told I have Crohn's then I don't then I do now i DON'T?! I have been told I might have Lupus or Fibromyalgia but it wasn't until I research Behcet's Disease has a light bulb gone off.
My current symptoms which are being treated with Imuran, and Antibodic, prescription strenghth Vit D are:
Mouth sores
Genital sores
Skin sores that turn into Ulcers
(Acne like sores that turn into ulcers)
Diaherriah water runny and sometimes bloody
Stomach cramps and pain
Sore stiff joints
Headache
Ear ache
Swollen Lymph noids (just showed up not treated by doctors yet)
Extreme fatigue
Any advice any one can give me I will be more than happy to accept
My current blood test include
A positive ANA test for Lupus
A Blood work up for Imflamitory Bowel Disease that came back high suspious of Crohn's Disease with numbers off the chart
Low Vit D level of 10 (told it should be up wards of 50)
High Sed Rate
High CRP Rate
Neg Skin Pathergy Test

Just came across your post. I am newly diagnosed, and I am not a Dr. - but none of my "Rheum" bloodwork was + - which I have been told by my two specialists is common among Behcet's - they do not expect to find things like you are referring to above which usually are more indicative of Lupus or RA.
I however, did have a + pathergy test, but that is rare as well. Sorry if this did not help, you could have both, that is possible. Good luck on finding the right diagnosis and treatment, I know what it is like to be treated like no one knows what is wrong with you - including YOU!

My doctors are treating me for Behcet's right now. My latest blood work shows my Sed Rate,CRP, and Platelets all elevated Three of my 4 doctors (my opthomologist got left out of this loop some how) all agree I have Behcet's. My PCP upped my Imuran and put me on Clorchine,(spelling is terrible sorry.), a pain releaving lotion for the genital ulcers, I am still taking the Vit D and Propanolol for migraine issues. My dermatologist put me on a stronger daily antibodic for the skin ulcers, and gave me a prescription for the mouth ulcers. I am glad they are treating me for something, my Rhuemies agree with this course of treatment for now and agree that it is Behcet's. Yea they think they know what I have got LOL (you have to remember doctors only PRACTICE medicine and it isn't an exact science like baking a cake yet!).

Dont I know, I went through hell and a lot of docs calling me a hypochondriac. Good luck with your treatment, I hope it works well for you!
