I live in Norfolk, England and things are really bad at the moment. I have 4 cats Evie, Dawson, Rigby and Harvey, they are all black and rescued. And they are the only reason i don't do something really stupid. I work full time as an administrator, part time in a call centre and casual in the catering trade. Motto's & belief slogans seem popular about now.... well how about dragons & moonbeams.... i either want what doesn't exist or something i can never reach!!! I cannot get things together and am running out of options.

My cats and dragons! The first i own the second i'd like to!! Although do you ever really own a cat or do you just feed it?? The feline tribe who let me feed them are as follows.... Dawson - my old man, he's 3ish, black, rescued... and think the world revolves around him. Dinner has to be ready when he demands it, he has to have the largest half of the bed and the end of the sofa which is best for watchin TV!!! He has that irratating habit of lookin at say his dinner, lookin at me and doin that slow delibarate blink that just says...'you want me to eat that???!! Evelyn - my grumpy lady, 3-4yrs old, black & rescued... she is part simease and has the vocal to match. She had cat flu when i rescued her and a big abcess on her eye..with surgery it's better but the deformaty means she gives really good evil eys!! Rigby - My big, fluffy boy, 2-3yrs old, black and rescued...seeing a pattern here?? He was called Ghengis Khan at the rescue centre... i guess that says it all but now he cuddles and purrs and snuggles all the time!! And finally....Harvey - my little man, 9mths old, black and rescued after his previous owner used him as a football!!Full name...Harvey Kitten cottontail, Jaffa Orbs, Warrior of the fly jnr...the tribe that owns me makes me very proud!!

Just poppin' over here to pay you a visit...I hope you're feeling better by now. I am so sorry for your loss. I had to put down one of mine too, just about the time you lost yours. Heartbreaking. My prayers are with you dear friend.

Close Hypothyroidism
It took nearly six years of lethargy, weight gain, exhaustion, always being ill, hair loss & scabby skin, losing 4 good jobs thru absence and several so called friends for my Dr to finally do a blood test! I had been told repeatedly by several different Dr's it was stress!!! Needless to say i'm finding it really hard now, even tho it is 3 years on.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionTell you my story???? Whats the point? It's been going on for so long i got to the stage that the dr's convinced me this is just the way it is. I think it's linked to my under active thyroid but the dr is convinced that my current thyriod levels are OK and he won't let me increase the drugs. I have tried a lot of different drugs, about 5 sorts, i can't even remember them all! They don't seem to help!
Treatments
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- I was a lot more steady but when the lows hit they REALLY hit!
- Effexor Not Working
- Really bad headaches and hot/cold flushes since Dr increased my meds to 75mg twice daily
- Celexa Not Working
- Seemed slightly less unstable but still suffered several major bouts of 'lowness'.
- Edronax Not Working
- No affect that i noticed!!
- Elavil Not Working
- Slept slightly better but the improvement only lasted a couple of months! Pooh!!
- Trazodone Too Soon to Tell
- ...But the side effect of drowsiness and stiff joints and fuzziness are here already and i only started them 3 days ago.
Open Anxiety
Everything seems to get on top of me, lack of sleep, worry, i'm not this person usually.

- Hypnotherapy Not Working
- Only went once and worried about paying out £45 out each time,money comes into alot!
Open Financial Challenges
I made a few bad decisions and am still paying for them. It doesn't matter how hard i work, i never get any nearer to financial freedom. Work is hard, on average 75hrs a week with very little sleep coz i am always worrying aboutpaying the bills.
Open Obesity
Underactive thyroid thats got out of control!!
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
Trying and failing to shift excess weight which got out of control due to anunder active thyroid but in truth i have always been chunky!
Open Fibromyalgia
Think this needs to looked into...
Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Am joining more for info... have alot of symptoms but no luck at Dr's so just wanna gather some knowledge!!
