Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI've struggled with anxiety and depression for many years. I feel like no one understands.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Worked for awhile for my depression. I also suffer from tension headaches. This worked very well for tension headaches/muscle aches due to tension.
- Lexapro Too Soon to Tell
- Did not take very long. Did not like the side effects.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- This worked pretty well when I was prescribed this for depression/tension headaches. I didn't suffer any side effects from it.
- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- I was prescribed Trazadone for insomnia. I couldn't take the Ambien because it didn't keep me asleep. Now I take Ambien CR. Trazadone worked insomnia, but I prefer Ambien CR.

Type: Loss of a RelativeIn June of 2007 I lost my oldest sister as a result of suicide. One week within a year of her death (last June) my father died unexpectedly. This year (May) my niece died after only living a week.

Open Insomnia
I suffer from insomnia. I also suffer from anxiety and depression. My mind races and I get so anxious about not sleeping.
Treatments
- Ambien Working / Worked
- I take the Ambien CR. The regular Ambien only keeps me asleep about 2 or 3 hrs. Ambien CR keeps me asleep about 4-6, if I'm lucky. It's the best thing I've tried though.
- Lunesta Not Working
- It did not work.
- Restoril Not Working
- It did not work,
- Trazodone Working / Worked
- It worked pretty well. I take Ambien CR now because I fall asleep faster.
Open Bipolar Disorder
Wondering if I am Bi-Polar. Haven't had an official diagnosis of it but begging to wonder....wanted help/suggestions
