How does one define oneself in a box - I know most people can - but during the time when I am in a flare of fms I have a hard time coming up with words in general... and I have worked very hard at not defining myself by my illness.... so - when my brain is working better I promise to come back to this box :-]

I have FMS and CFS; need support.
Treatments
- Acupressure Somewhat Helpful
- As part of massage; useful but could not continue to afford and not covered by insurance.
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Was good - had to stop due to cost.
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- used for sleep; couldn't use during day and function;
- Cymbalta Not Working
- Side effect forced me to stop.
- Duragesic Patch Not Working
- could not tolerate side effect; could not function at all;
- Elavil Not Working
- side effects - stayed on for over a month to see if side effects would go away. Did not for me.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Comforting but not healing.
- Lyrica Too Soon to Tell
- just started with recent flare up - my doctor does not seem very knowledgable about it.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- Have been using for years (ultram); have to monitor liver functioning and decrease dose due to effects at thimes.
- Vitamin B12 Not Working
- Injections from doctors - did not notice any improvement
- Provigil Working / Worked
- have used it for years would not be working without it.
- Lidoderm Working / Worked
- Worked for site specific pain
