I've been having back pain since I was a teenager, and until a few months ago, have done nothing about it.
So far, it's taken a visit to my PCP, 2 specialists, and the MRI place. This Friday I will be getting the radiologist's report, and then I'll see my spine doctor on August 6th to get an official diagnosis. I guess that once I make up my mind to do something -- it gets DONE!
The MRI pictures were given to me on a CD, and the other day, my husband and I looked at them. I saw grey blobs, static, random squiggles, and some big round white patches that I thought looked like my ass cheeks -- until my husband said it was a close-up shot of some bones! LOL!
I'm going to slide the meter to more than halfway, since I have been doing so much to get this issue clarified in the past few months. In just another couple of weeks, I'll have some answers... which will prompt the creation of another goal, maybe: Once we know what's wrong with my back, what can we do about it?
