Dear Keryl,
I have found that it helps me handle the daily pain I am in, helps me to focus on what my goals really are and I am in a lot better mood these days. Let me know if I can be of any help to you. Eric

Dear Keryl,
I think you are very smart for fearing getting addicted to painkillers. I too decided that they were a trap, having to seek them constantly just to endure the headaches. I ended up using meditation to learn to live with the endless pain.
The meditation that I find is the best is the kind practiced by martial artists to focus their energy before a match. Any library will have books on just this type. Feel free to call on me if I can be of any help to you.

Good Morning Keryl. I too had a ruptured brain aneurysm. It was Jan. 14 2008 and I have not had one headache since. I would get headaches before on a regular basis. Change in weather, sky clouding up, pressure to do something. On June 24 2009, I had another aneurysm but this one did not rupture. Both times I had the coiling done. The right side of my face is numb but that gets better everyday too. I know I would rather have the numbness then the headaches. Could still tell you more but will wait to see what you want to know. You seem to be doing good yourself because your typing makes sense and spelling is right. Keep up the good work and never give up. Recovery takes a while but we only have so much time to make that recovery. Carol
