I am a mum to a lovely 4 yr old boy.. I have been a heroin addict since 13yrs old and also have bipolor dissorder but i feel the last yr have been my best so far... I love my son and he drives me on but would like to meet people who can support and encourage the daily battle!!!

Close Heroin Addiction & Recovery
I have been a heroin addict since I was 13 yrs old.. I have been through many treatments and although I AM NOT COMPLETELY CLEAN I have been the most stable I have been in years... I have been majority clean but with a few lapses.. mainly due to living in the same area.... Here to meet people in the same situation and read what others have found helpful in their recovery!!!
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Somewhat Helpful
- I only went to a few meetings.. not for me but can see how it works for some!!
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- It did work till I reduced to the last bit and the lack of sleep and back ache led me to a relapse!!
- Subutex Working / Worked
- They helped when I was younger I stayed a year clean!!
Open Loneliness
Sometimes I Feel Lonely! I have a partner and my son but sometimes I just feel so different n isolated!!??
