okay so im trying to eat helthily WITHOUT the thoughts of ed in my head,like the eating healthy part is okay,its if i eat ANYTHING else that i consider "unhealthy" or "too much" even if its a yoghurt cause the salad hasnt filled me up,thats the part that does my head in! i stress out if i eat outta my planned food plan(wich ive made up for the day) i dont want to be like this!!i want to be able to eat healthy AND still eat choc,yoghurts,fruit,biscuits...whatever extra WITHOUT punishing myself or feeling like a failure!!!

    It takes time and practice. I know you can do it. I'm trying to eat healthier with out ED thoughts too. We can do this together. You just have to remember that you don't know what your body is going to need through out the day. It is okay to eat outside of your food plan. Think of it as tentative rather than set in stone.

    I'm using Paul McKennas I can make you thin method at mo.
    Thin book to read than daily ' hypnosis' tape. Seems to be working. Is sensible method, aimed to stop food from ruling your life. Goodluck x

    I agree it just takes time, practice adn patience. Leave some room for flexability in your plan, it may help. of have a sidelist of healthy and 'approvable" snacks on the side in case the salad doesn't fill you up. I know it's hard, I'm in a very similar situation but you can't be so strict and hard on yourself or you're only allowing Ed to come back in. Hang in there. I'm sure you'll figure it out

    It takes time girl, be patient with yourself. You're already doing really well with eating. At least you're actually eating. The voice will fade with time. Keep eating and listening to yourself. I'm proud of you babe!
