Close Bipolar Disorder
i think this started as a teenager, i was not diag. with bipolar disorder until about4 yrs ago, ive been through just about every kind of medicine, was in the hospital about 3yrs ago for depression and thoughts of suicide, i recieve disability because im not able to work, my mood swings are rapid and hard to deal with. suffer with bouts of insomnia
Treatments
- Abilify Not Working
- did not do a thing for me
- Depakote Not Working
- kept me in a state of confusion and exhaustion i was always "out of it"
- Geodon Not Working
- made me a walking zombie
- Lamictal Not Working
- took it for about 1yr then started having reactions to the med, rash had to stop taking.
- Effexor Somewhat Helpful
- seems to be working ok, still have terrible mood swings...
