I was told I have CML in April 2007. I am a 60 year old female, My whole life has changed. It is hard accepting that I have Leukemia. I have been on Gleevec for about 4 weeks have with several problems, My WBC is back to normal.My problem now is getting adjusted to the medication.I am a Christian and my Lord is my strong support. I am a retired nurse ] and collect vintage Teddy Bears.I am married to a wonderful man who is a great support.I have one son that lives in Va.
