Diagnosed November 2006, but I've probably had mild asthma all my life. Pollen allergies give me mild symptoms; any respiratory infection means I have to open the medicine cabinet -- prednisone, nebulizer, cough suppressant, etc.

Advair Not Working

I am horribly allergic to it.....got a serious case of the hives that lasted two weeks.

Albuterol Not Working

Asmanex Somewhat Helpful

Foradil Not Working

Inhaler Somewhat Helpful

Singulair Somewhat Helpful

I am pretty sure that this medicine kind of slows down my brain....I don't exactly get sleepy, but I will find myself sitting and staring at the computer, or just sitting and doing nothing. I do think it might help with the allergies though, so I do used it from time to time.

Xopenex Working / Worked

Use in my nebulizer and rescue inhaler.
