      I am 50 female that was diagnosed with RA in May of 09. I love the outdoors and watching Sci Fi movies/series I am a caregiver by profession.

      Treatments

      Hydroxychloroquine Working / Worked
      My Rheumatologist started me on Hydroxychioroquine twice a day from my first visit in May 09 and am still on it. I believe it helps but it took about 6 weeks before I notice any imporvement.
      Methotrexate Working / Worked
      I am on injections once a week. I believe it has helped a great deal then just the Hydroxychloroquine alone. I have had no side effects so far.
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      I started taking Prednisone when I first had symptoms of RA and am now slowiy decreasing my dose. It helps ease the stiffness.
