So, as of yet, we've not heard the results of Tom's biopsy or whether he's ready for the harvest.
Not to mention, he's going thru neuropathy in his legs that progressively gotten worse. He claims there's nothing out there that can help. I beg to differ but he's sick of pills. It kills me to watch him go thru this. Are there any answers???

i find a hot bath helps as well as the fentanyl patches which I change every 48 hours. There are also two pills -- Lyrica and Gabapenten - which can help with PN -- they are also used for epilepsy. Good luck with getting him to try things -- its in his own best interest, but if he's negative about it he'll just have to learn to live with it!! you are doing a fantastic job -- but he has to take some responsibilithy for himself as well. Thanks, Cath. let me tell you, this has surely been a challenging journey and just when I've tied the fourth knot in my rope, help comes. Tom saw your post, and went, "ouch" and while I know you were offering sage advice, the truth can be a bitter pill. He told me he will at least think harder about his options. Thank you again for just being you.
