Close Insomnia
I have been diagnosed with Chronic Insomnia. I am a young male that has suffered from this for as long as I remember. I just want help and a good nights rest.
Treatments
- Ambien Somewhat Helpful
- This did a very good job of putting me to sleep, but I was very groggy in the morning. Also some mornings I realized I had done things the night before I could not remember. Nothing harmful, but still somewhat frightening.
- Counting Sheep Not Working
- This does not help me get to sleep as my mind races a mile a minute.
- Music Not Working
- I can not fall asleep to music, at least not any music that I have heard so far.
- Reading Not Working
- When I read a book at night it helps me relax which is great. Once I put the book down I will not become tired though. I usually want to continue reading the book after awhile of tossing and turning.
- Rozerem Somewhat Helpful
- I am currently taking Rozerem. Some nights it works, other nights it has no effects whatsoever.
- Physical Exercise Somewhat Helpful
- I do believe exercise helps me sleep but not to a degree that it solves my problem. I do feel more relaxed at the end of the day though.
