About Me
My husband and I live a quiet life, except for having the worry of our only son in the military-currently deployed overseas .I have chronic illness (an obscure auto-immune disease), fibromialgia goes with it, a lot of joint and muscle pain, extreme fatigue. Have had 3 joint repacements, many surgeries, infections. Depression rears its head lots.

Dear wyrd1,
You are so very welcome! I am glad to hear that you are feeling better about your son's situation & I will put him in my prayers that he return safely to you and your family! I noticed on your profile that you like to paint with watercolors. I have always been creative but was never a painter. I hope that when you sit to paint, it has a calming and therapeutic effect, especially with your son being far away right now. I would love to see some of your paintings. Maybe you would consider posting some of them in your "Photo" section of your Profile? I also noticed that you and I both live in "small towns". Personally, I love it and wouldn't change anything about it. I find it to be very "calming" and my husband and I are very glad that we are raising our children here. We have a small back yard, however, we have woods right behind us so we are constantly having "guests" come into our yard. The other day, we had 3 young deer in the yard and they were eating right out of our bird feeder, not to mention, they were eating our tomato plants! It really was a beautiful site though, despite them eating my tomatoes! I'll have to tell you about the baby groundhogs some other time. Please take care and feel free to send me a message anytime!
LotsaHugs! ~Carrie
