      Stage: IIB (T2 N1)

      Diagnosed 1 week after my Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. I was diagnosed with Invasive ductal cell carcinoma. Stage II. I had a left mastectomy 3/7/07.5 of 11 nodes positive.Axillary dissection also.I started chemo 4/2/07 and will go every other week for 8 weeks,then get Taxol every other week for 8 weeks, then 5 weeks of radiation.

      Treatments

      Adriamycin Working / Worked
      Had 1 treatment with #2 due on April 19th.Also get cytoxan. Will get every other week for 8 weeks then taxol for 4 weeks every other week.
      Mastectomy Working / Worked
      Left mastectomy 3/7/07.Lymphedema in left arm.
      Taxol Considering
      Will have this the last 8 weeks of chemo. Horrible leg pain and hand and feet neuropathy 2 days after treatment.Discontinued. Will try taxotere next treatment
      Taxotere Working / Worked
      Started taxotere 7/10/07.Will get every 3 weeks times 2 more times. Very tired with this one. Some muscle and joint pain.
