About Me
I used to teach middle school math and science but became disabled due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had a heart attack 4-1-09 due to narcotics for my RA. I have been married for 7 years this December to a trucker. I am a strong Christian who believes God has His hand on me. I trust Him for courage and strength for each step I take.

Close Heart Attack
I'm a 40 yr. old who had a heart attack 4-1-09. I am still so very weak and stay exhausted. I had a catherization and was put on a balloon pump. I died twice but survived without any permanent damage to my heart.
Treatments
- Atenolol Working / Worked
- This medicine was for my POTS and it worked great!
- Methyldopa Working / Worked
- I have been on this since long before my heart attack. I have no complaints.
Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and am in intense pain on a daily basis. I cannot take RA meds or painkillers. I need lots of support.
Treatments
- Enbrel Working / Worked
- caused intense nausea so bad I could not eat
- Methotrexate Too Soon to Tell
- just started back on it for Ankylosing Spondylitis
- Pain Management Clinic Working / Worked
- was on Oxycodone and Morphine until I had a heart attack
Open Alcoholism
I am a recovering alcoholic for 3 years now. I am disabled and can't attend support meetings so I need online support.
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- This took me through an examination of why I drank and who I need to rely on to stay sober.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- Thoroughly enjoyed meetings and the support from other members. I miss them.
Open Prescription Drug Abuse
Addiction to narcotics for my RA which caused me to have a heart attack on 4-1-09.
Treatments
- Residential Treatment Center Not Working
- I was too consumed with my circumstances to give up the prescriptions for my pain from RA.
Open Fibromyalgia
On top of everything else I have, I suffer from this condition and need support.

- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- It only slightly eased my muscle pain and tension.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Minimizes muscle pain.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- Worked but it gave me horrible nausea.
Open Ankylosing Spondylitis
I was diagnosed 5 years ago and need support.

- suffered significant nausea

- caused a heart attack 4-1-09
