Good that you have the dx now. The plaquinel will take 2-3 months to build up in your system and kick in. I can say it's made me at least 70% feel better. Hugs!

Close Sjogren's Syndrome
Tested 8 on a scale of 0-9 for Sjogren's. Cannot get in to the specialist until the end of August. My primary MD has me on Prednisone Burst. Naturally I feel rotten! I am an RN but I know very little about Sjogren's. I do not have dry mouth and my eyes are a little dry but always have been since youth. I need to be in contact with others with this illness so I can learn to navigate.
Treatments

- Although Prednisone has helped some of the joint pain I feel like when I take it I get short of breath for 2 or 3 hours a day and my heart really pounds with exertion.
