I’m With You
I'm finding every day to be easier... I have my own thoughts about "addiction" but established NA/CA/HA, inpatient, and psychological babble unfortunately are winning the battle over psycho-pharmacological/empirical evidence. I suspect a lack in either endomorphin production, receptor sites, genetic damage or some other explanation rather than just simply "disease." More research WITHOUT bias is warranted.

I am a twenty year old heroin "addict." I cannot imagine what your BF has put you through. I can say from experience that it is not something that many people are willing to tolerate even as long as you have. I just never made it to the homeless shelter but was able to realize that I still had a reason to live. I am sorry that you have to deal with such a person. I could not imagine continuing ever using if I was happy/lucky enough to have a loving girlfriend with a baby coming on the way... Sending some karma your way... Talk anytime. Keep in touch.

Just wanted to say hun, be strong! I dont think the 'tough love' will work if i am very honest he needs proffesional help, i mean that in the best possible way. Resaerch on the net on how you could help him, i understand where your coming from and you feel under pressure as you are pregnant! take it easy and try not to let it get you down too much. try his GP. also i did a search and an ex habbit rang me and gave me loadsa help and support. try the net hun:)

I am a 19 year old female and I am currently 10 weeks pregnant as of August 23, 2009. I am trying to relate to other teens as to how they feel and how the father of their child is dealing with the whole situation themselves.
