I am here for support from those who understand what I am going through.
Treatments
- Asacol Not Working
- This was the first drug i started with and it only helped for a few months. After it stopped helping, I started on Remicade.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Cyclosporine Working / Worked
- I started this in the hospital on August 28th. So far it is working. At first it was giving me horrible headaches but they lowered my dose and now I feel good. It's an evil drug so do not take it if you can avoid it.
- Entocort Not Working
- They only had me take this drug for two days and then stopped it once I ended up in the hospital
- Humira Considering
- Lialda Not Working
- I started taking this drug because Asacol was no longer working for me. However, I had no luck with this one as well
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Probiotics Not Working
- Remicade Not Working
- I have had about 6-8 infusions of Remicade. My body is no longer responding to the drug. I am currently looking into other treatments.
- Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- I am going to see a surgeon on the 18th of November. I should have the surgery done before the end of the year.
