      Dear Chelsea,
I'm sending prayers to the Big Guy Upstairs for you and your baby! If you're not into prayers, then call it a meditation in positive energy. My dad had a hard time with treatments. I don't know of advice, but I really hope for you and your baby. A girl in my class's son has Hodgkin's Lymphoma and she has roped in a team from the community to help with meals and housework. I pray for you to get support in the community!
      Bless Your Heart...
      Respectfully Yours,
      -R.Nixon

      Hi Chelsea,

I hope all is going well. I was fortunate to only need 8 ABVD treatments and even more fortunate to not experience any "icky stomach" symptoms. I felt very comforted by the care I received by my doctors and support from my friends. Everytime I finished myy infusions I looked at it as 1 less to go through. I wish you much strength in your journey. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
      Warm regards, Mark

      Hi Stacey.
Well, you do have a long road ahead but doesn't mean hard, my daughters first bout of hodgkins went very well, no nausea and very little hair loss, she had great support and love around her and managed to keep her spirits high and even joke around about it...I will warn you that one med, can affect your lungs so as soon as, and if you get shortness of breath or have a cough, let them know right away, they can and should remove that part of the med cycle. My daughter is now experienceing hodgkins for the second time in a year, this is not always common but unfortunetly its happening to her, please, be very proactive, talk to your specialist about even tiny details of changes, don't wait for next appointments if something isn't feeling just right! You know your body better than anyone, not sure why hodgkins is coming out so frequently now but we have to fight this disease hard! Hugs and god bless

I guess it's almost time to start your treatment. Where are you going for treatments? I went to MD Anderson here in Houston. The best thing I did for myself when this all started was to realize that whatever is going to happen is going to happen and the only thing I can control is how I deal with it. Just get up everyday and do what you HAVE TO, let God handle the rest. Your emotions are going to be a roller coaster. It's all o.k., it will all be over with soon and just be a memory. NHL diagnosis is not like it use to be, it use to be a death sentence, that's not the case anymore. The advancements in the treatment are unbelievable and now it is one of the better cancers to get (if you have to have one)
Please get rest & take care of yourself...
