Last night my son had a football gamein the next town. My in-laws were there so I sat by them and visited some. The game went into two overtimes and we ended up losing by two points (we don't do field goals in 8th). My son was one of the only kids not crying because they lost- he's so mellow about everything. But he was hurting after the game. He already has osgood-schlatterly's disease which is when your ligaments and tendons can't keep up with your rapid growth and so his joints hurt and ache a lot- but lately his knee has been swollen and he got hit on his calf and his forearm really hard. He could barely walk last night or get up the stairs or get undressed to take a bath- and he really stinks after a game!!! So, I decided to take off and let him rest and take him to the orthopedist because he's been needing to go anyway- and the little one says tells me he should stay home too because he has horrible stomach aches every day and tries not to cry at school and he has diarrhea every day when he gets home- I had no idea- I thought the meds we were using had helped and he was doing better. So, I let him stay home too and he's going to the doctor at 2- the ortho doctor is in surgery today so the big son has an appointment tomorrow at 4. I guess in essence we're all skipping and should've gone to work/school but I was getting all stressed out last night trying to figure out how to do everything- I can't get on the phone at work and make appointments with my students in the room. I also had been feeling overwhelmed because I didn't do enough in the house this weekend and so now I need to get off of here and get on the laundry and organizing things.

Besides all of that I'm doing pretty good!!!!
