I'm so sorry you had such a horrible doctor... It just amazes me that these people go into a proffession where the job is supposed to be about helping people

Please don't give up. There are doctors that can help you. I have been to so many doctors and keep getting referred to someone else. It is so frustrating but I know someone can help us.

Thank you for you add request. You ever had so many things wrong in your life you can't get started on anything. For me to get medical help I need to have a family doctor, but I don't have money to get one. To get help form DSHS you need to become a ward of the state - their state. For what, so they can make me one of their case projects. This whole year has been completely demoralizing.
Nevermind me, just venting a little :). Your sweet hope you have a great weekend!

my story is like so many others of chronic pain. i was in a car wreck that left me disabled 6 years ago. i have had 2 spinal surgerys and multiple procedures for my neck. i also have suffered from chronic daily headaches for 20 years. the headaches have gotten worse in the last 2=3 years and i am trying to live with the pain and also find a doctor who will find out whats causing the headaches instead of jusf pills or injections.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- helps a little with the neck and depression. needs to be 80 mg to be effective according to the dr. doesnt help the headaches
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- helps me sleep if nothing else. doesnt help the headaches
- Heat Working / Worked
- helps at first then makes it hurt worse later.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- really helped my neck but it made me itch. not much help with headaches
- Methadone Not Working
- made me violently ill! i was so out of it i couldnt walk down my hallway.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- definatly helps the neck and head.
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- made the headaches worse.
- Neurontin Not Working
- didnt seem to much of anything
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- helps both neck and head. not very many side effects.
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- aggrivated my headaches but did teach me ways to relax muscles.
- TENS Not Working
- made everything hurt worse.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- for breakthrough pain
