Sorry to hear about all of the problems you are having with your TMJ. I too had sinus surgery and I had botox injections in my face to stop the pain. Could you have a dislocated jaw? That is what happen to me from not having jaw repositioning surgery.
If you would could you tell me the name of the surgeon you are going to see? Will they be able to fix the displaced disc?

I have been experiencing facial pain and head pain for the past year. I was finally diagnosed in February with TMJD, chronic sinusitis, and facial neuralgia. In June, I found out that I have a displaced disc which is extremely underdeveloped. I have been referred to a leading surgeon in this field and await my appt. in Sept.

I have had chronic pain in my face, jaw, and head for over a year now. It has taken a toll on my emotions, finances, employment, and mostly my family (they try to understand). I never imagined my life would revolve around how much pain I am in.

- heat works great until it is removed
- Lyrica Too Soon to Tell
- not sure if it works. Still on a low dose.

Open Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: OtherI have severe environmental allergies. I took the brand Allegra for many years without any problems until I was told I had to get generic. Once on generic Allegra, my sinuses became infected. I have been dealing with chronic sinusitis for a year now.
