I had the Harrington Rod Procedure in 1980 when I was 16. Although once in a while I experience back pain, a heating pad & Motrin is all that is needed. It is scary to face the surgery but the benefits were life changing!!! I am 45, I volunteer in my Communty and work full time as a Paralegal. I have 2 wonderful german sheapards I can run and play with. I had 2 curves and a rotation. Most of the time I am pain free. I have had the rod so long, I don't think about it on a day to day basis.
Treatments
- Harrington Rods Working / Worked
- The Rod has been workgin for me since 1980. The only side effect is I have some limited mobility when rotating to look out the rear window of my car.
