      Hi Holly -- Some positive things are that your Dad is not drinking or has a desire to & no bleeding. I have had ascites too & am actually feeling good. I am waiting to see if I qualify for a liver transplant. There is hope. Right now, take care of you. So important. God Bless --. Patti
