I am a single mom. I am diabetic-2 and wonder how that took place. Pretty much of a health nut so I was shocked to get that DX. I pretty much say it like it is which isn't always a good thing. But thats me. My adult daughter is an addict and that is why I came here to get help.

Interests
I love plants, gardenias, orchids, daiseys. I love anything with the water, snorkling, sailing, swiming. I love music to listen to, relax to. And say this everyday... Lord, grant me the Serentiy to ACCEPT those things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can and the WISDOM to know the difference.

Hi Sunnie! It was sweet of you and such loving thoughts! I, too, send you hugs and good thoughts to help you get through even the worst days! I've been very busy with M. and she's doing pretty good. I hope you can enjoy Thanksgiving with some friends and just relax and be thankful for the good things that have happened -- even if you have to DIG to find them!!!! Love to you, D.

Thanks for thinking of my and giving me flowers. Thanksgiving will be a little tough as every year we'd go out to a place for Thanksgiving to eat. Steven prefers Steak over Turkey so we'd pick a restaurant that had both. We'd meet Steven there at the restaurant. There's just Joe, Steven and I here in Las Vegas. The rest of the family lives in San Jose, CA. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving. We'll be o.k. as we'll get through this like we had to do last year. Take Care. Love, Georgia

My daughter was,is possibly still hung up on coke. I am so depressed this time over all this I can't get it together. She was in rehab and clean for almost a year, but her attitude started back to the old nasty ways. She moved out and had not told me where she is, changed her cell phone and just vanished. Took more money before she left.

- Actos Too Soon to Tell
- I am taking Actos,Glipizide,and Metformin and everything has been fine so far. I started this last year sfter not being able to walk due to bad hips. Someone had put me on insulin and my other Doc took me off it and put me on these meds and I have been fine so far.
