Close Bipolar Disorder
I have bipolar one disorder with psycotic features. I would like to meet and talk to people who have the same problem and see what kind of meds they are on and if they are helpful.
Treatments
- Abilify Not Working
- Horrible medicine. Made me have blurry vision and restlessness.
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I take this as needed for panic attacks. It makes me thirsty and have dry mouth. Helps calm me down though.
- Depakote Too Soon to Tell
- I took this while I was hospitalized but they took me off of it afterward. It did not seem to make any difference since I was still on lithium also when i was taking it.
- Geodon Somewhat Helpful
- Worked pretty good for my hallucinations but it had sexual side effects that I couldn't deal with
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- I am in group thearapy. It helps to be able to complain about my symptoms once a week or so.
- Lithium Working / Worked
- Lithium seems to work well but it does have one bad side affect, it makes me shit all the time.
- Zyprexa Working / Worked
- It works better than the other meds ive taken but I am gaining some weight. No other side affects.
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- It worked I am going to keep going. It made me hallucinate but it made me less afraid of them.
