Hi hotcoco,
Thank you so much for your well wishes! It was just a bump in the road and I am feeling fine again, thank goodness! I was so distressed when I thought I was going out of remission that I cried. My skin gets worse around my period. I am liking the Clinique redness solutions a lot, and it has helped a bunch, but I still get acne around my jawline and on my cheeks. I hate it, too!

Close Rosacea
Diagnosed with mild rosacea 3 yrs ago. Used metrodanizole w/no real results. Suddenly worse w/perimenopause. Now on doxycycline monohydrate for 2 weeks.
Treatments
- Doxycycline Too Soon to Tell
- Just started mid June. Websites say it takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months for results and to 'hang in there.' No results so far at 2 weeks. Side effect for me, achy muscle/bone in upper arms? Otherwise, I take w/meal and no upset stomach as mentioned by others.
- Erythromycin Not Working
- Took for 1.5 weeks before Doxycycline. No results. No side effects.
- MetroGel Somewhat Helpful
- Maybe it helped to minimize redness a little.
