Fascinating Day!!!
I have a new friend who like me has MS. She is quite a bit younger than I am but she is just a joy to be with. She’s full of life, …
I am in my 60's and was d/x with MS in 2002. I have had some rocky years but finally have my head together and have accepted the fact that I have MS!!! I have 3 grown children, a beautiful granddaughter named Sophie and two grandsons, Mason and Benjamin. My husband and I have been married 40+ years and with each year it gets better. I am retired and more busy than when I worked. We moved to NH in 2004 into our dream retirement home. Hubby is still working but hopes to retire in the next few years. Our home overlooks two mountain ranges and two lakes. Living in the city for sooo long we forgot what beauty there is in the night sky, sunrises and sunsets. I am so connected to nature, especially trees, rocks and the wind!

I am so glad you had a great day! I know that feeling of being in the hands of a good neurologist because I was at mine this week as well. But I saw his assistant (who was 12! and who was a barbie doll - he he - she had bright pink polish on her finger nails and the cutest high heels - who would know that she is smarter than a whip) but she told me about an MS trial that our hospital was having. So when you get all settled at your new place, just find a Neurology group in your area and see about MS trials, you also get paid for your time. There are usually some parameters for meeting these trials and I don't meet the one near my doctors but you may and you may benefit. It is wonderful when you finally meet a doctor who cares. I found my doctor off of the www.endthepain.org or the trigeminal neuralgia association website and he was finally someone who knew who to treat the pain. Well, I am still in pain though, I wish the docs would give me enough medicine to get out of pain. I am going up on my neurontin though so that might help. Well, good news to lift your spirits and I hope you have a great day! My four year old has a play date and my nine year old has a sleep over so I will be busy today! Love, -Holliday
That's great about the job! I hope everything works out just perfect! And I hope you have the strength in the process. It is the middle of the night and I am trying to type some encouraging words :o) I hope your TN and MS lay low and that you can get through the move without them bugging you too much. I woke up to take some pain medicine so I know first hand how painful it can be. I just hope that you can have some good help so that you don't fall and get hurt either. Well, that is my zombie advice for now, he he, LOl, take care Grammie P! Love, -Holliday
"get" was supposed to be "KEEP"! xo Cj
As of 9/9/07 I decided to stop taking Copaxone and feel better than I have in ages!! However, NOT recommended unless your neurologist approves!!
I was diagnosed in 2002 with Multiple Sclerosis. In the past several years I have had on and off stabbing pain in my right ear and on occasion my left. It feels like being stabbed with an ice pick. Quite nasty but it would only last a few seconds. I would get every few months. Lately, I have been having the pain more often and it now lasts for approx. 3 days. I am seeing my neurologist this week and hope he can be of some help.
Strolled over from MS group. RLS is getting worse and worse.
