About Me
My name is Shannon. I have 2 sons Dalton 13 & Logan 8. I'm with a man who loves me for who I am & more than life it's self. I know he is my gift from God, I've never met a more kind, generous & loving man. I don't know what I would have done w/out him. I was dx with MS Feb. 2008. I was devastated and shocked, I have had symptoms for 3 years. I have Relapse Remitting MS where I'll be fine one day and the next I have to use my cane or can't drive because I temporaily lose my sight. I help my mom run her business Pedigree Pets Boutique & Spa. She's a world known AKC breeder. If you're looking 4 a loving puppy you've come 1 the right place!

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI have Relapsing Remitting MS. I was Dx in February 2008 & I've been having a hard time coping w/ the relapses, severe muscle & joint pain.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Works sometimes.
- Baclofen Not Working
- Didn't work so Dr. took me off of it.
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- I love it! It seems to work much better than the Rebif witout all the painful side effects.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- Somewhat helped when i was taking it until my symptoms got worse.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- It works while I'm in physical therapy.
- Prednisone Not Working
- Didn't work. Caused major joint & muscle pain. Also fevers & couldn't work while I was taking it. IV therapy I can't take it either caused fevers for me.
- Rebif Not Working
- Hated it! Caused severe pain, fever, flu symptoms. I don't recommend it to any one!
- Swank Diet Not Working
- I do eat a proper diet & high in fiber but doesn't seem to help any of my symptoms & constipation at all.
- Swimming Working / Worked
- Helps since I have severe muscle & joint pain.
Close Infertility
Type: Tubal IssuesI've had a tubal for 8 1/2 yrs. I got pregnant last month & miscarried. I would love to have a little girl since I have 2 boys. I want so desparately to have another baby.

Open Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
: I support someone who has lost a child to SIDSI've miscarried but I've never lost a child to SIDS but some membrs of my family have so I've seen how much it affects people.
Open Autism / Autism Spectrum
I'm big supporter to find a cure. Just 2day we had a Dog Walk-A-Thon for fundraiser for autism. Our Pedigree Pets business donated money & items. Website is on my profile!
Open Chronic Pain
I suffer from chronic pain on a daily basis due to my Multiple Sclerosis.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- Didn't work at all! Actually made matters worse!
- Flexeril Not Working
- Didn't work at all..like taking candy for me.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- It helps sometimes.
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Was taking vicodin throughout thr day 4 break thru pain, but started not working after a year, so my Dr. upgraded me to percocet.
- Marijuana Working / Worked
- Worked very well..but medical marijuana isn't legal in Ohio. I think it's BS!
- Morphine Working / Worked
- IV works fine, but pill form I can't take due to the side effects.
- Naproxen Not Working
- Didn't work for me.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Didn't work either for me.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Works very well most of the time. I take 30mg Oxycotin 2x a day for chronic pain relief. I also take Percocet throughout the day 4 break thru pain..that's how bad I have pain every day :^(
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- My home health PT Nurse comes 3x a week..seems to help a little.
- Topamax Not Working
- Didn't work at all.
