I have MS I am Secondary Progressive and I also have Fibromyalgia. I was DXed with MS in 1990 and Fibro in 2004. I am going to be 46 years old in Roctober ... Wooo Hooo it's a miracle. It is all good though I have a positive attitude and I kid around allot. Laughter after all is our best medicine.

Wow Steve...Glad you're getting the meds you want & need finally..It's like we're already sick and disablied and then we find ourselves having to fight for things we need and do extra work.. You've sure got your hands full. I have to go do the"grocerie shopping thing" this afternoon..And my P/c has a few probs that are puzzling to me..One is yahoo messenger won't work and my network adapters & sysrtem restore..I have no idea how they got this way.A friend of mine who works with & on computers tryed to help me last nigtht..But, I coudn't even get an email tyo him to remote help me..I thinking I might have to bite the bullet and totally wipe the drive and then reinstall my windows vista operating system.What a mess. Always something ,as they say.. keep in touch and hope things imporove for you.Love & peace,Missy

- I am on dual therapy.. I am taking Beta and I am starting as well
- Copaxone Too Soon to Tell
- I am on dual therapy.. I am taking Beta and I am starting Copaxone as well
- LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Considering
- I am considering LDN for my Fibro symptoms
- Novantrone Working / Worked
- Took Novantrone for 9 months in 2002 It helped allot with that relapse.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I have taken Solumedrol many times with some success.In the early years I made great recoveries. Now I recover about 80%.
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Use to take it and it worked well for me with my fatigue issues.
- Tysabri Working / Worked
- I did the Tysabri trail to get the FDA to re-approve it.
- Zanaflex Working / Worked
- It helps with my spams.
Close Fibromyalgia
Treatments
- Effexor Not Working
- Did not work for me so I am now on Nortriptaline.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- It helps somewhat with the burning sensations not so much with the joint pain though.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- Worked very well but I am no longer taking it.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Worked for many years but after 10 years it stopped working so I switched to Lyrica.
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- Was somewhat helpful at times.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- I take Ultracet and Hydrocodone for the joint pain. It is working very well for me at this time.
- Zanaflex Working / Worked
- It helps me allot with my spasms caused by my MS.
