Close Addison's Disease
I am struggling with figuring out how to live with Addison's disease and hypothryroidism.
Treatments
- Cortisol Working / Worked
- Clearly this helps but I have yet to find the proper way to dose and live an active lifestyle.
- Florinef Working / Worked
- This is working however I just learned that I can increase my dose for strenuous activity.
- Synthroid Too Soon to Tell
- I just switched to synthroid from levothyroxine. My weight is all over the place as are my lab results.
Close Hypothyroidism
I have hypothyroidism and Addison's disease. The thyroid though is so much harder to regulate. Looking for support and information.
Treatments

- I just switched from levothyroxine to Synthroid. My weight is out of control, my energy level and mental alertness are seriously lacking.
