      I enjoy the days where I can put in a god 5 hours of work around my home. But I also know that I will pay for it the next day. I slept 4 times today. 3 times my dog woke me up just to let him outside. I am still awake at 1:40am.

      My husband and best friend suffered a cardiac arrest 19 months ago. He has anoxic brain injury and 1/2 of his heart is damaged. He was 42 when this happened. Our son was with him at the time, thank God, because he started CPR and dialed 911. Pretty good for a 19 year old! Anyway, therapy has ended and the isolation and lonliness has begun. As I have read in so many, many of the lives of brain injury patients I guess this is the way it is. Part of him died that day and I miss him terribly. I also wonder where everyone went that on Dec. 1, 2007 said they would be there for us.
